21 Chop House

There used to be a time when DeWitt drew people from the Quad Cities and surrounding area. Well.. 21 Chop House is declaring that the dining draw is back! Moderately priced, upscale food - yet inviting for all. We have visited twice and have not been disappointed. My bass has been perfectly cooked each time. A great selection of food and drink. Steak, chops, seafood, or a burger - give them a try, you will not be disappointed. Reservations recommended, especially if you are from out of town.

UPDATE (July 2019) Sad to say things seem to be on a decline. Last few visits, food subpar. Not sure what is going on but things seem to be in transition. Hopefully they get this turned around, DeWitt needs a place like this.

Service excellent, steak ordered med. rare was well done, no pink whatsoever. Food tasted fine, but won't rush back for more.

6 of us had great meals, all different, at prices that were consistent with other good restaurants. First visit, but we will return. Great environment and very friendly staff.

My husband and i went to 21 Chop House last night for dinner. The decor and atmosphere was do nice and relaxing. The drinks are delicious(Jason had your long Island ice teas and I had the Rum drink that had Strawberry and Mango mixed in). For an appetizer we had the Asian Smoked Bbq wings which were so delicious, full of flavor and just amazing. For our meal, we shared the 14oz new York steak dinner with family style salad, cheddar and chive biscuits(instead we had bread though not biscuits), mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The meal was filling and very satisfying.

The food here was very good. My Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. They served a generous portion of prime rib and those that ordered it really enjoyed it. The red skin mashed potatoes were tasty. We also enjoyed the family style salad and bread. We plan on returning.
