Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews

Our server, her name is Honey, was very polite and attentive. She was both waitressing a section and bar tending so she did a good job. The whole experience overall was lowered for other reasons.
It took 25 minutes for us to get 2 meals, supposed to be bottomless steak fries but I got 6 fries with my meal, boyfriend got about 12. Gentleman at the bar was alone and served a whole basket of fries with his burger and beer. We both ordered beers & meals too so we're not being cheapskates.
I ordered the meal with both chicken strips and fried shrimp. Didn't get cocktail sauce like described on the menu so I asked for some and was told they were out..for me that's a deal breaker on fried shrimp... I would've ordered something else had I been informed beforehand.
The whole time we were there, we could hear the kitchen staff laughing and goofing off, even while we were waiting for food. We spent over an hour in total for 2 people at what I thought was a QUICK burger joint.

This place has exceeded my expectations the past 3 times I have eaten here. Today I had their double Pub Burger. I devoured it. It's not huge, but it's not small. The perfect size. Bottomless fries are nice too. We had chili cheese fries for an appetizer and the cheese was actually melted, not cheese sauce. Their servers carry around hand held devices and punch your order in as you're talking. Brilliant! Save room for desserts! The shakes here are to die for. We also had dessert, because, why not? I had their sugar biscuits - which are basically like cronuts with fudge and caramel dipping sauce - Oh my - I ordered the small, wish I'd gotten the large. Also ordered the moon pie - pictured. After we were done, hubby paid the bill at our table on a electronic device. I gotta say - for not a high dollar restaurant, service is great, and they are pretty cutting edge. Kudos to you, Red Robin!

Had went recently on a day and time that was not to busy, so we got sat down almost immediately. Great, server was pretty nice at first but in between time of checking on us and making sure we had what we needed seemed a bit long. Fiance said she saw the waiter/waitress on their phone phone behind the bar. They also seemed a bit more soft spoken when little one was not almost asleep as well. We had got our food, one out of two appetizers were good, fried pickles > pretzel bites. Fiance and friend got the same thing but one got steamed broccoli, which was starting to brown already, my fries were cold by the time they got to the table. But burgers were overall good. Would we go back again? Probably not anytime soon.
