This is in my must go for when I visit Iowa.

Very cozy place in a modern comfort atmosphere. Dining room was bright, clean, and welcoming. Food was unique, delicious, and fresh. Waiter was very friendly and accomadating. Service was timely even though the restaurant was packed and very busy. We went for breakfast and everyone at out table of 3 ordered something different and was happy with the food. Highly reccomend to anyone in the area!

Meh. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food left more to be desired. I tried the biscuits and gravy...the biscuit had a lemony flavor which seemed odd to me in a savory dish. The gravy lacked flavor/depth...the herbed potatoes were too salty...and the cheese grits were lumpy. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Our server was friendly and helpful, the ambiance is nice, and the coffee was good.

Excited to see them open another location in the metro in West Des Moines. Beautiful, clean restaurant inside, with plenty of parking outside. All staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Love that they partner with numerous local businesses to provide quality food and drinks. Even artwork and furniture that's sourced locally! Prices are super reasonable in proportion to what you receive. Everything was delicious, no complaints! We enjoyed the coffee cake, biscuits and gravy meal, and the Gimme the meats omelet meal. They even leave a water bottle and the coffee pot at the table! No need to hunt down the wait staff for refills.

I love going there for the Flavor of the Seasons French toast! I had the polenta poundage french toast and really enjoyed the mascarpone sauce with it. Also had some delicious coffee cake and a cappuccino. I'd definitely recommend going to this place to others and plan to go back there frequently!
