We had heard of Bread and vine through someone who recommended their amazing drinks. The drinks didn’t disappoint and the food didn’t either. The Fresh lobster pappardelle was delicious and I would definitely order that again to taste the creamy sauce.

The only thing I’ll note is that the music is so loud in there you can barely speak to your partner in there as it does turn more into a bar scene towards the night. I had a hard time hearing our server most of the time from when we entered to when we left. As others have mentioned too the seating is really cramped, it felt like we were invading the couples space who was next to us. Our server did do an great job though.

A Huge Thank you to the staff and especially the owner Eric! The restaurant is Beautiful, the food was amazing, entertainment was out of this world. Visited your restaurant with 24 Spaless Sister’s and we were treated like Royalty, from our bus driver to the staff and Most importantly Eric. The staff and owner Eric interacted with us, danced with us and make us feel Like Queens, and we “ Had The Time Of Our Lives! Best of luck, although I believe you all will succeed!

Dubuque will enjoy this restaurant once all the wrinkles are ironed out.

Only 1 month open, it is worth a visit. The food may lack lustre, but its eccentric ambiance certainly makes up for it. A kitschy dinner menu on a record cover (dessert menu is on the record label), discotheque vibes, and a live dj supplying low-fi tunes will make any occasion more special.

The menu's delectable variety reveals its French persuasion amid the glittery showers from the disco ball overhead. The elements are all there: the duck, the lamb, the tuna, the foie gras. The timing is still yet to be desired. We had warm-ish lamb and lukewarm duck. The presentation was mediocre. We decided to add an entree to carry-out with us and went with a tuna poke - cold (just the way it should be).

Service has potential, but still rough around the edges. Some fine tuning, especially when communicating with food runners on guests with allergies, will make a large impact.

Would I dine there again? Absolutely! I'll be back in 6 months, after the dust settles and everyone has found their groove.
