My wife and I ordered the American Burgers with fries. The burgers tasted very good. The seasoning on the burgers was the right amount and did not overpower the overall flavor. The one minor thing I would change would be the amount of lettuce that came with the burger. They gave enough lettuce for a few burgers. Again, very minor inconvenience since I just set aside the excess lettuce. I found the fries tasty and well cooked. My wife wished more came with the meal, but that's just her being her as she loves potatoes. Service was very friendly and the dining room was comfortable. We would definitely go back and order the burgers again.
Food was great, however for a saturday night they were either understaffed or not working as a team. Our bartender was amazing, and I cannot rave enough about her. But she was by herself. There was a waitress walking around with a bad attitude. Anytime she walked behind our chairs at the bar she would bump into them and not say anything, one time even bumping my arm. She came up to our very busy bartender at one point and was complaining about a table she had. Our bartender was running all of our food, making drinks for her customers and others and yet i could see another waiter standing around. A manager that would emerge from the kitchen and survey the restaurant and then disappear. By the time our food came it was on the colder side and we had to ask for our check, because we had somewhere to be. We got there an hour and 15 minutes before our play, our food, that we ordered pretty quickly came with 15 minutes left before we had to leave. I feel that if our food was cold, someone, anyone could have brought it out for her as she was doing her best. I was shocked to see that she had no help, especially on a Saturday.
Burger just great-sized but just high side of okay (was like BBQ Jalapeno or something) and not worth the price. Better than an $8 burger but needed some more Spirit in the recipe. Go to Red Robin or maaaybe Barrel House (I have a hard time recommending Barrel House except for their beer selection) if you want to pay that much. Alcohol twice the price of any nearby bar with few options. Interior is decent and new but no plants and feels too open and impersonal. Very small portion of fries with my burger but the fries were good. Inconvenient to access for parking.
Nice place they have happy hour specials Monday thru Friday
