The Bucksnort

First ones in on Memorial day. Greeted at door by a very pleasant women. Good sence of humor. My wife having just had dental work done asked if they had silverware to eat with. It sounded funny to every one at the time. I explained that my wife was of very elite status and had only married me, a hillbilly, to prove that I could be enlightened and eating with silverware was a hugh step for me. We all had a good laugh and were served with silverware. The food was excellent. The service was 5 star and the price was very reasonable. Planning to return after the dental work of my wife's has healed.

I had the hamburger and baked beans, of which both were very tasty. The prices were good as was the service. The place was clean and easy to find. I'd definitely go again.

Our meal was good but the food we took home (prime rib) was almost half fat and considering it was almost a $30 I expected a bit more meat. Friendly service.

If you are ever in the Missouri Valley area in Iowa, make sure you stop at The Bucksnort Restaurant. Big portions, excellent service and awesome food!!! Make sure you come here hungry because you are gonna leave with a full belly!! The owner Becky was super awesome!! We will be back next weekend for sure!!!
