Service was great. Thanks Jeff! Food super. Never had the pizza.....will definitely order again.
The wait staff were exceptionally attentive and friendly. The food was quite good for a great price. My only complaint was choosing to dine on a Wednesday and miss out on their phone rib.
If you desire a good dessert, they are made fresh on Thursday.
This place has it all!! Food which is out of this world, back bar where you can drink, play pool, joke box, darts and even gamble. Separate entrances but both sides accessible through either door. They even have live music. Small town atmosphere with great hospitality!!! Absolutely Love this place. On Friday nights from 5 to 9 p.m. they serve prime rib with all you can eat salad bar and dessert. Rob is the best chef ever. Rob witjs hard and has battled bladder cancer more than once. Now he only had 1 kidney, doing dialysis, and operating best restaurant/bar you'll ever go to.
The good: The dining area was clean and had unique decor. The staff was attentive and polite. Selection of food was terrific, a pretty extensive menu for a small town restaurant. The salad bar was small but what was on it was great, coleslaw, potato salad, some sort of seafood salad, regular salad fair. Our appetizer plate came out quick and served with a BOTTLE of ranch dressing. The Prime rib was delicious as was the French onion soup and baked potato.
The bad: The rib eye steak dinner was bone dry at medium rare and had the quality of a cheap steak sandwich for $20. I had the feeling when they brought it out to the table they must have ran out of good rib eye and substituted the very cheap paper thin meat they use for the sandwiches.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant but would avoid the rib eye. It seems most dishes they have are great, but a few clunkers.
