Our family went out for dinner this past Friday. We were seated quickly and our drink orders and appetizers were ordered and served quickly. We ordered our entrees and we waited. Folks that had arrived after us started getting their meals before us. Then we waited some more. The server tried to assure us our meals were on the way so we continued to wait. It was an hour from the time we arrived until the time we actually received our food. Which was the kids mac and cheese, a party melt and fish and chips. So nothing that should have taken super long to make. We were told an order was made wrong ahead of ours and pushed everything back which happens but didn't make sense since others were getting their meals before us even though we had ordered before them. The manager did comp us for our appetizer which was nice of them. Food was good and the comp of the appetizer helped keep the rating at four stars rather than three stars.
I had the Carolina burger & fries.
Wife had the fish & chips/fries.
Burger & fish were good and had more fries than we could eat.
2 draft buds & a mixed drink.
Also had cheese curds.
Little over $47.
First in the place since the new ownership. Beautifully remodeled, but a little on the expensive side.
We were very impressed by lunch today and coming from me don't take that lightly with 12 years of food & beverage experience including management. I'm an out of towner and would definitely go back, prices seemed very reasonable to me after we ate. I had the Diablo wrap and jo jos. There were a lot of other things on the menu that caught my eye! Will have to try dinner next
Cool place. Grrrrreat atmosphere. Fantastic selection of food. Good music playing.
Family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 7-16. Everyone found something good to eat.
Onion rings were yummy. Salmon was awesome! Shrimp Alfredo was delightful. All meat pizza, a bit on the salty side but very good.
Our waitress was just a tad lacking in the personality department but not bad.
SO glad stopped along our way through town. So refreshing when small towns have something more than just bar food places with nothing but stuff you cook in deep fryers. A step up, a little taste of big city dining.
