The Ronneburg Restaurant

Love this place! We come once every fall. I always get the Wiener Schnitzel with all - you - can- eat family style sides :fried potatoes, gravy, green beans, pickled beets, coleslaw, sauerkraut, cottage cheese, bread and butter. Fantastic food, great prices and top - notch service. We look forward to our trip every year.

Day before food and service was great. Coffee cup never empty. Next morning same amount of diners in the restaurant and the service was totally bad. Coffee hardly refilled. Ordered all you can eat breakfast...one of us got his first pancake and the rest waited over 30 minutes for theirs and the rest of the family style meal. Food was cold like it was sitting in the kitchen. Sad because the morning before was wonderful and the next day so very bad! What a difference a good waitress makes!

By far, the best food I have had in many years. Breakfast was so impressive, we went back for lunch. Wait staff was friendly, especially Tammy. If you are in the Cedar Rapids area, or the Amanas, The Ronneburg is a must! You will not be disappointed!

Great restaurant. Food was great and there was plenty of it. The only issue was that as the evening progressed the area of the restaurant we were in got really loud. It was very hard to have a conversation. Next time we go we will just ask to be seated in a different area.
