The food and service was fabulous. You get lots of food for the money. We had catfish, shrimp, fried oysters and chicken. All were very good. Tried fried dill pickle slices for the first time, loved them! We will be back!

I love the hush puppies and they have good sides. They have mainly catfish and no cod. Cute and quaint mom and pop place. Definitely worth a try!

Went to this place for the first time tonight and I was thoroughly impressed. The service was great, and the food was even better. We ordered fried okra and fried pickles, and had we known just how large the portions would be, we would have just stuck with one appetizer. For $7, the portions are very generous, probably double what you'd get elsewhere, and they don't skimp on quality either. I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp combo, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side of fries was crispy, lightly seasoned, and heaping. Another person in my group got grilled chicken with their fish, and the chicken was delicious as well. Notice a pattern here? Excellent food, great service, and worth every penny. If you like seafood, support small business and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.

This place is great. The food is delicious and the servers are very nice and helpful. We love the fried green tomatoes and the fried fish and shrimp. My husband got grilled fish and shrimp and it was very tasty, I'll be getting that next time.

This was our first time in and the food was wonderful as well as the service! They have the best grilled shrimp I have had. The catfish was wonderful too breaded and grilled. We will be back for sure, nice to have this dining option in Newton
