What a unique place this is! Great location right on the river with multiple seating options. You can eat in the old general store, or they will pack it up for you to eat outside on the porch, or at picnic tables on the bridge over the Cedar River. We went on a Friday where I had the Seafood Platter special. Clams, scallops, shrimp, and a flounder fillet that came with fries and coleslaw for $11, what??? There were many appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and homemade pies to choose from. Great, fun place to visit and worth the 20 minute drive!

The place was really clean and had really cool decor. The serve was very quick for.both our drinks and food. It was a downside that they only take cash and checks, not credit cards but they do have an ATM. They also offer to let you eat outside and on the bridge. Bathrooms need work but were clean.

Live music, family friendly environment, serene views of the Cedar River, the Historic Sutliff Bridge (open for pedestrian traffic only) and surrounding countryside!!!! Food was EXCELLENT (I had the philly steak). If you have never been here, you'll be planning your next visit before you even look at the menu...it's THAT cool.

I remember when you could actually drive over the bridge. Great history. Love the Pizza Burger at little bar, that has been there for decades. Great destination point.

Came down after a long day of canoeing the Cedar River and was blown away from the amazing service and food. Jumbo tenderloin was jumbo and delicious, one of the few places on earth that I could find cottage fries as well. Drink selection was good. Ability to eat on the bridge Sutliff Bridge was also very cool. If your rolling through, definitely stop and experience some Iowa charm and history!
