I mean you get what you pay for. But for a meal that costs

I went here after a play rehearsal tonight. Despite getting there at easily 9:15 but probably more like 9:30, my meal was made fresh and the staff was really friendly. I got a small hot and sour soup and a sesame chicken to go and was incredibly impressed by the portion size. I ended up being full after the soup, because there was so much good stuff in it! The standout items in it which pleasantly surprised me (as you don't tend to find them in hot and sour) were water chestnuts and little bits of chicken. Although I'm saving most of it for leftovers, the sesame chicken is also very good: the sauce is light but incredibly flavorful, and they give you a few pieces of broccoli as well. Overall, I am very impressed and will definitely be coming back!

Great food at great prices. They have both american Chinese food and a special menu that includes hot pots. Would highly recommend the garlic shrimp. My only recommendation is that they start taking credit and debit cards.

Many good dishes, but not all are good. Spicy chicken is my favorite.

My roommates and I go here every week. The lunch special is an amazing deal and the atmosphere is great. The food tastes incredible both fresh from the kitchen and even the next day if I bring any home to reheat. I would consider China star an important part of my college experience.
