Overall it was clean, cute and a good experience. The staff was helpful. A big shout out to Stacy who had exceptional customer service skills and took an issue and handled it professionally and quickly.
This was one of the greatest hotel stays I've ever had. It was just me and and my 6 year old and we had a blast. We explored this unique hotel, when strolling down the strip behind it and enjoyed dinner at Gene's, the hotel's restaurant. Not only was everything reasonably prices, but delicious. The room was immaculate and so so so so comfortable. The only downside was there was no real game room to speak of and the pool is permanently closed.
A great hotel with a great location. Landed here after a Hotwire nightmare hotel we walked out of.
This was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are comfortable and the beds and linens were top notch.
The location is great. Right in the middle of everything. Restaurants, bars, shopping, the university, parks.
There is a coffee shop, a bar, and a restaurant right downstairs in the hotel. The turkey club sandwich was the best food I had found to date in Iowa City. It was amazing.
Note: parking is not included. Breakfast is not included. Be prepared to pay $14/day for parking.
In spite of this, I was still very happy with this hotel.
