But that was one of the best burgers ever, it really hit the spot! Worth every penny! “Great classic tasting burgers in a smash Burger style. Shoestring fries are unique. Two meals cost about $16.50. Really fast service, but I think it was a little obnoxious that they called numbers over the speaker the whole time. The fry sauce is good, mostly like a classic burger sauce of ketchup and mayo with pickle.”

“I went here after a play rehearsal tonight. Despite getting there at easily 9:15 but probably more like 9:30, my meal was made fresh and the staff was really friendly. I got a small hot and sour soup and a sesame chicken to go and was incredibly impressed by the portion size. I ended up being full after the soup, because there was so much good stuff in it! The standout items in it which pleasantly surprised me (as you don't tend to find them in hot and sour) were water chestnuts and little bits of chicken. Although I'm saving most of it for leftovers, the sesame chicken is also very good: the sauce is light but incredibly flavorful, and they give you a few pieces of broccoli as well. Overall, I am very impressed and will definitely be coming back!”

“This place is beautiful. We went here for part of a weekend getaway/honeymoon and they didn't disappoint. They offered free sampling of their various wines and liquor, we got a great your full of interesting facts about how they brewed and a wonderful cheese and meat tray to eat. We went back for a fantastic brunch with mouth watering food and mimosas. Loved it. Took multiple bottles of whiskey home and will be going back to visit again and again.”

He also asked if anyone at the table had food allergies, which I had never been asked before. I thought that was really considerate. The food was so good and not too expensive. The outdoor seating is covered, which we liked because there was a chance of rain and we had our dogs with us. The waiter said they just hired a new sushi chef who was trained in Japan. Donnelly’s is the most magical place in all existence and I have devoted my life to finding a better bar, and have failed. This is it folks, the best of the best. Staff = amazing. Booze = amazing. Food = amazing. Their kitchen manager, Dan, is the best chef in the entire world and if I become rich and famous I will force him to be my personal chef. The service is outstanding. Each and every one of their bartenders and servers are top notch. The only negative about this place is they got rid of the hot Thursday server. Heard she got a modeling gig in paris or is in a movie or something really cool.
