Kinnick On the River

Nice place with a beautiful view. Food is good but nothing overly fancy. Friendly staff. I enjoy having appetizers and cocktails here.

We're from Missouri and as a child I loved this place, previously named something else. We wanted to go back to reminisce. Kinnick On the River beat my significant others expectations! We went 2 nights in a row! Service and food was amazing!

Staff and clientele are always welcoming. Enjoy every visit. It's right on The Mississippi River, which incredibly cool! Buy a koozie! We give them as gifts. And, try the pizzas! The thin crust garlic pizza is a fave! Looking forward to our next visit!

Probably a Five Star for locals. There are nice people that work there and it looked like it was very popular with the regulars. It's a typical tavern on the river that is Iowa Hawk-eye themed. It is inexpensive. It seemed fairly clean as well. I found the food selection to be very limited unless you like fried food. We did get a burger and fries. It was a very average burger that I could tell was from a food distributor and probably came in a box.

This is a small bar with a lot of character. They serve all of the major beers and pilsners. They do have a few hard ciders and mixed cocktails; and the usual fare of hard liquor and spirits. They have a nice size dance floor and live music acts. It's a great place to meet friends and relax.
