Emil's Hideaway

My Husband and I enjoy the atmosphere at Emil's and the cuisine always is mouth watering. After a long work week Emil's Hideaway is a great place to have a beer and relax with friends or a date. I highly recommend. 5 BIG STARS!!

One of the best places in Cedar Rapids for amazing pub grub. I've been here several times and I've never been disappointed with my order. All of the food is great. The staff is wonderful, polite, and helpful. They also have an amazing selection of beer and other drink options. I always hope to stop by when I'm in the area.

A nice new find if you're new to the area. As implied, the hideaway isn't very noticeable from the main road. I've always gotten good tasting food there (last night was the "Hawkeye" sandwich, which was really tasty). we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. Atmosphere is pretty dark inside, but the localized light on each table was enough.

No better dive bar in cedar rapids. This place has a large menu with unique specials each week, and the friendliest staff around. Hidden off the main stretch of 1st Avenue, you can find some great pizza here and awesome beer specials. For some extra fun, ask for a Tower of Beer (if you've brought friends and want a unique experience)! My wife and I always love to go here for some late night fun, and the patrons and bartenders are always good for some great conversation.

I love this bar. Jess and Jamie are the best bartenders I've ever met. Emil's has a pub atmosphere with a swanky lounge feel to it. Food is amazing and beers comes in 20oz glasses. $$ but absolutely worth it. Vegan/vegetarian options. Heavy pour shots and mixed drinks. 10/10
