Fong's Pizza - Cedar Rapids

Cute theme, fun pizzas and appetizers. The adult beverage are super fun! They are served in themed chilled ceramic mugs, animals and such, that you can buy and take home. I ordered the Waving Cat, which was strong and fruity; yummy. I went, for the first time, for my birthday and it was a good experience. Our wait person was quick on the ordering and came back quickly multiple times as our group couldn't make up their minds. Everyone enjoyed the large-ish Dragon appetizer (chicken, bacon, etc.) that came with a creamy sauce. We ordered a couple of pizzas, which all came with sweet and sour sauce as well as a sweet and spicy sauce, one was the"Crab Rangoon", which came highly recommended via word of mouth and reviews. The Crab Rangoon was the group favorite. Another was the Mongolian Beef which was good but could have used a little more flavor.... When someone mentioned to our wait staff that it was my birthday she immediately said congratulations and that I got a free dessert. I order the fried wonton filled with cream cheese and raspberry filling of which everyone really, really enjoyed. All-in-all a good experience ????.

I enjoyed this place. The pizza was good, came out fast, and our server was friendly. There isn't a lot more I could ask from a late-night stop off after leaving one of the local bars. I wasn't bowled over by their pizza, but if I'm in the area I'll probably be here again.

Absolutely loved their crab rangoon pizza. The honey garlic Alfredo was pretty good. While the dragon balls were perfectly fine, I expected so much more from their description. I believe that I would've been much happier with them if they had been served with sweet chili sauce instead of ranch. Next time I'll have to ask them to do that.

While Fong's certainly isn't the best pizza place I've been to it is definitely the best in Cedar Rapids by quite a margin.

Super creative pizzas, and fun relaxed atmosphere. The dragon ball appetizer is a must try! As are their signature pizzas: Crab Rangoon, Egg Roll, Street Taco, and Sweet and Sour are my favorites. They have a huge variety of pizzas for a more traditional topped pie. They have some cool tiki drinks as well. Service has always been quick and friendly. Be prepared for a wait on the weekend dinners, but we always put our name in, go next door for a drink and they'll text you when your table is ready.
