Mamacita Taco Bar

OMG, this was such a great place. The tacos here are amazing. What really makes this such a great place is the server Tori, she was amazing, she's made the experience so much better. We are for sure coming back.

They also have a nice bar with a good selection of beers on tap. The spicy pina and spice water melon were to die for.

This is definitely a place I will say is as close to a 5 out of 5 stars as it gets. Waitress was friendly, and aware of us, even though she was working on side tasks between rush hours, since we went at a time where it wasn't very busy. The food was incredible, and it makes me wonder just how amazing it would be if we'd gone there around a typical meal time. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in Cedar Rapids (or close by). Portion sizes were spot on for the pricing, and the flavors are amongst the best I have ever had. I will say that the Taco Trays are probably your best bet, in terms of bang for buck. Comes out to $3.50 per taco (for 3 of them), but you seriously can't go wrong with how loaded they are. Good work guys!

Food was delicious! I had the gorditas. Chicken was so fresh and juicy. Asada was really good too. My son had the tacos, tortillas were so yummy. Hubby really enjoyed the al pastor tacos. Overall we were very happy to find some good food in Iowa while dropping our son off at college. Our server Tori gave amazing customer service! We will def be back!

It’s decent. Somewhat Americanized menu. My only problem is that this tiny burrito Is a $8 burrito at best. Not worth the $14 they’re charging here. That’s right. $14 for a normal burrito

Update: we end up here at least once every couple weeks. Drinks are great and well presented, food has never been a miss.

Have been here twice, and both times were amazing. Great food, unique margarita selection, excellent wait staff and bar staff. Will definitely be a frequent flyer here.
