Olde Brick House

The menu and atmosphere are exactly what you want for an Irish pub. The burgers were cooked to perfection & they offered a plant based substitute which was a major win for my husband! The only negative was my husbands plant based option did not get delivered first, luckily we could tell the difference & our waitress quickly fixed it. The Irish mule using gin was fabulous.

Absolutely phenomenal food. Our waitress was so great and the host was amazing - incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. I’m excited to try multiple menu items they had available.

Felt like we went to Ireland. The food was delicious. The stuffed salmon was fantastic. I also tried the ruban wontons. Those were an unexpected delight. Our waiter was the best. He was outstanding. Will return. Can't recommend it enough.

EDIT: My second time here was much worse. It took over an hour of not getting an entree on a Thursday night for me to cancel my order and leave so that I could catch my movie. Didn't even get drinks for a very long time during that wait. Wasting people's time is worse than having mediocre food.

The food was very good. Prices were fair for nowadays. The meatloaf has a nice grill flavor to it. The brown gravy was very good. The cabbage worked well with the crispy onions. The pea puree was interesting and flavorful as well.
The Reuben was very good. Only knock is the rye should have been toasted harder to be crunchier and hold up to the moisture better. The meat was lean. The fries had a unique sweet taste in a good way.
The salt and pepper grinders on the table were a plus. Appreciated that there weren't TVs on every single wall.
Good fresh tasting Guinness and Smithwicks pours. The atmosphere was themed very nicely, Irish throughout. Great to have an Irish option in CR.

We had a great first experience at Olde Brick House for lunch! I have to say that this is the best place in town for Irish fare. Admittedly, I was turned off at first by the location and the fact, that it is a small chain, but we were pleasantly surprised. Lunch prices and portions were quite reasonable.

This is as true to an Irish pub experience as you will find in the area. Their food and drink menus were diverse but they have a number of distinctly Irish items. Extra points for having magners cider on draft.

Food was excellent. The Irish Guinness stew was good but different. A bit mushroom forward. My favorite thing we ordered were the fish and chips. Hand-breaded and fried perfectly. The fish was juicy and flaky. Other places in town that claim to be Irish serve something more similar to fish sticks or chicken tenders. This was the real deal.

Service was WONDERFUL. We felt taken care of during our meal even during the busy lunch hour. All in all, I would highly recommend that you check out this place if you have a hankering for a hearty Irish meal.
