Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

I have eaten at this Perkins for many years. Their selections have improved over the years and i have never had a meal i didn't like. If you like breakfast it is served all day. Their muffins are delicious and pie can be purchased by the piece or the whole thing.

I was in town for work and I went there two late night/early mornings in a row a Friday and Saturday, Friday night my server was Julie and she was outstanding. Saturday night the manager on duty was Lazaro, he was very professional and delivered great customer service! And last but not least my server on Saturday night was Amanda, she was there alone and was doing a superior job holding down anywhere up to seven or eight tables at 3 o clock in the morning. I asked Amanda to pick something for me to eat and she did an excellent job, the food was great, everyone in my party enjoy their food and the service.
I would highly recommend this particular Perkins. I will definitely be going back the next time I'm in town.

The food was ok. But could have improved by paying closer attention to detail. The service was slow even though it wasn't busy. Employees in the kitchen messing around instead of seating customers or checking them out. Had to wait 10 minutes and an elderly couple was waiting longer than us to check out. Had to go into the kitchen area to get service.

Eggs were burnt, bacon raw (for me) toast not toasted, just warm bread. The other 2 meals were good and they brought me new eggs and crispy bacon. Usually love the food here, maybe they have a new cook who can't cook eggs (other tables had brown eggs too). No discount for making me eat half of my meal at a time. . . Still, I'll most likely go back again.

For the most part it's a pleasant experience with good food. On occasion, the service is very very slow, even to take your order or even to be acknowledged. Approximately half the time I visit there, I have to ask for drink refills as opposed to being offered drink refills. The food is very good. The atmosphere is clean and very pleasant.
