Riverside Family Restaurant 2

Very good place to eat! I went a little early to beat the lunch rush and it was almost packed. Staff was excellent and on top of everything, even while busy.

I have been in Oskaloosa for about a year now for work. I travel a lot for work and don't stay in one place long. But one of things I like to do is find a diner that serves a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Riverside has fit that perfectly.

They have great coffee and food, the service has been exceptional in my experience with them. I never run out of coffee or have to track the waitress down to get a refill. They are away coming by to fill me up.

It is getting harder and harder to find good diners around the country with more and more food chains taking over. Riverside is one of the few that has managed to survive. If you are looking for a low key, good food and excellent service, Riverside is the place for you.

Food was fantastic! Prices were great! But the service was outstanding. We had two girls on Sunday that had wonderful personalities and a servant's heart.

I was born and raised in Osky, so I've seen all the different restaurants come and go in this building since Bonanza's. Riverside II is the best restaurant in this location in years. I almost always get the gyro skillet. I'm obsessed with it. The staff are super friendly and inviting and they actually keep the place clean (unlike whatever that last restaurant was called). Well worth your stop.

This place was very busy on Sunday !
Everyone was working very hard to serve the large numbers of patrons.
My eggs were stunningly perfect.
I'm picky about the over-medium eggs I prefer, and these were perfect !
The restaurant was clean.
Our waitress was delightful.
I wouldn't recommend the white gravy they use on the chicken fried steak, it's flavorless.
