Very good food and prompt attentive service

INCREDIBLE! A sushi restaurant in a stripmall in Iowa sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but this is truly the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. I wish I could try more of the menu, but the Friend roll is so good I can never bring myself to order anything else. I only get to go once or twice a year when I'm visiting family but the waitress still remembers my order! Absolutely delicious.

All in all it was tasty and we would come back. The rolls were super flavorful but we picked blander veggie rolls anyway because we wanted something easy on the stomach. They were fresh and tasted fresh. The hibachi was good. The soup was good, a bit saltier than I've had before but I would say it wasn't quite to the point where it was too salty. Tempura was good just a tad greasy. Sauces like yum yum sauce were perfectly balanced and tasty. Services was very good and prompt and attentive. Food came out quickly so that was nice.

The short lady came to my table serving me a bowl of soup that had literally only one mushroom in it. They gave you a good quantity of sushi for almost $20, but it had too much roe in it. When I eat sushi, I would rather have meat instead of roe. There are few worthy souls that go here.
