Tremont on Main

The service was excellent! The food tasted amazing! The atmosphere was romantic and sophisticated. If you're looking for fine dining in Marshalltown, this is the ONLY restaurant you should consider. It is expensive, but worth every penny. Everything was clean, from the booths to the bathrooms, and the utensils to the plates. The owner, I assume, actually took the time to personally thank us for dining there. He assisted my husband with choosing Scotch, first letting him try one in the middle of sweet and oakie, then suggesting the best one based on what my husband thought of the sample. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable. Our waitress was the best waitress I've ever had anywhere, hands down. I just can't stop gushing about how great our experience was there. I highly recommend this fine eatery!

Very fantastic hand crafted drinks. Try one of there seasonal specials. Steak di Burgo was also very well done. Thank you for a fine experience.

What a beautiful hotel! The room we stayed in was gorgeous! Large, very clean, and well appointed. The bed was super comfy. I have a bad back and often leave a hotel feeling stiff and creaky. Not this one -- the mattress was perfect. I woke up feeling great. Large, fluffy towels and even a white noise machine by the bed! We couldn't ask for anything more. The owners are lovely, and make you feel right at home. I highly recommend the Tremont on Main. Thank you for a wonderful stay, especially in the wake of a tornado that inflicted so much damage. We will definitely be back, and I can't wait to try the restaurant!

It's close to the end of the block,easy to miss sign wise but has amazing fresh food. A fine dining experience like is not often found. Prices are good too.
