It was founded by Jimmy John Liautaud in 1983 and is headquartered in Champaign, Illinois. In 35 years, the company has grown to more than 2,800 locations[2][1] in all states except Alaska, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.[3] As of 2014, 98% of the locations are franchise-owned.[4]

(September 16, 2019, 6:30 pm)I came to Jimmy John's at 10am and they weren't open until 11 but let me come in to pay for a to go order for later in the afternoon. I called and switched addresses and the soda an hour later. The people I spoke with both times were friendly and helpful. The food was great too!

(September 12, 2019, 10:50 pm)This evening I placed an order and got a sandwich better than I hoped for. As my pescatarian sandwich looked like a big mac. I was indeed pleased. The employees at Jimmy John's were nice, clean and respectful. I continue to keep going to Jimmy John's because of the service, affordability, and food. Keep up the great work. Those 3 things set you apart from so many other places! Thank you!
