(February 7, 2020, 11:32 pm)They were kind enough to serve us when they were trying to close early. My husband had a huge piece of meatloaf really big enough for 2 and I had hot beef . Both were hot and delicious.Then we had raisin cream pie that was To DIE for!! Closest to my moms I’ve ever had!! A little far to drive for lunch from Ankeny but we just might have to try it!!

(June 3, 2019, 7:50 pm)I really liked this this place. This is your above average mom and pop type restaurant. The staff was super friendly. The waitress recommended the hot beef sandwich and their onion rings. I have to tell you that the hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes was awesome. The gravy was good the actual beef was awesome and the mashed potatoes were great. They do a great job on their onion rings - they make their own ranch dressing - I would recommend trying Tom and Tiffs..
