    First time going after years of hearing. Homemade potato soup was great! Prime rib was fantastic too... Had a spiced apple slice in the juice next to the meat. Weird... Hadn't seen that before. But definitely worth the trip!

    The inside woodwork is gorgeous. We waited longer than expected to get seated, but then realized they were very short staffed. Our poor waitress never stopped running. I love how you get both soup and salad, they weren't great, but was expecting that as it wasn't our main course. The pork chops were tasty and very large, the prime rib was decent..but the catfish was really good...by far the best entree we had at the table. May give it another try because it really wasn't bad at all.

    Strange atmosphere, but the food is amazing. The prime rib cannot be beat.

    Ribeye was overcooked. Salad and soup were very basic. Bread was okay, as was baked potato.

    Service was very good.

    Place is very dated, but that's part of its' charm.

    Prices are reasonable and I would return, as part of a family outing.

    Loved the P.P ! Very down to earth/old school restaurant. Everything was a amazing...from the soup,salad,bread and yes the prime rib !! And dint forget the sweet italian dressing. It was so good that we had a pint to go. Kinda Wishing we bought more coz we're almost out of it ???? we would definitely go back
