Great service and amazing BBQ. Ribs are super tender and flavourful. Burnt ends on Wednesdays are amazing! Best bread pudding in the area.
Hands down best bbq in the area by a long ways. Portions are generous, food is consistently amazing. Staff is friendly and pleasant. We love the prime rib (get there early) and the Happy Heifer will never disappoint. Oh, and the fried apple bread pudding? Just out of this world.
Great atmosphere and very welcoming. Burnt ends were AMAZING!! Baby back ribs were flavorful and fall off the bone. Brisket was okay but became better when pairing it with one of the four sauces I chose.
The sides weren't too shabby. Cole slaw was creamy and delicious, baked beans were cooked well. The cornbread, while small in portion for the price, was buttery and delightful. The mac and cheese is the reason for the loss of a star.
That was the absolute worst mac and cheese I have ever had. Superbly bland and the noodles were way overcooked. The texture of creamy sauce, the severe lack of seasoning and overcooked noodles were only one word: disgusting.
Apart from the mac and cheese debacle, I will return again. Best BBQ I have found in the area yet.
Great family owned local BBQ eatery. We really enjoyed pulled pork, brisket and spare ribs. This is serious Q! No need for sauce. There were nice pieces of bark in my pulled pork which I will crave in the middle of the night. The brisket was tender and moist. Side were very good. I did try the sauces and all were smokey, sweet or spicy. Service was great. Can't wait to go back. ( Ask for a side of horsey sauce yum.)
First time here and started with sandwiches for lunch. Both the brisket and pulled pork had a good share of tasty bark. The friendly staff brought us a number of of additional number of sauses to try. Other highlights include the cornbread and baked beans full of meat. Seating was clean with plenty of room. Give this place a shot when you're in CB.
