Quaint friendly establishment just off the interstate. Food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Would have put 5* however we had to trudge through some pretty deep snow to get inside. I’m talking the front cement steps had over 3” of snow drifted and we were the only people in there. (The snow had stopped and the cook after making our food sat in back looking out the window for quite awhile - we were there about an hour) plenty of time to clear the steps at least
I'll try and be brief. Service was great! (New girl from the looks of it) The place itself was clean and organized. The food on the other hand... Only speaking on what I ordered, it was NOT good. The BBQ pork sandwiche with the pineapple and the Hawaiian bun... Just wasn't good to me, and the breaded mushrooms we're not great either, over done and just don't have the right process down yet. But I give it 3 stars because they are going outside the normal of your same old burgers and fries you can get anywhere. They are experimenting and I can't knock them for that. I'm willing to bet that the rest of the menu was amazing, I was just unlucky enough to try the things not yet perfected.
Stopped in for a quick bite off the interstate and had one of the best burgers in my life. My buddies and I will have to take a road trip back to try the Philly. Clean, superb service and a great time. See you in a few weeks. I want a shirt next time!
Exquisite dining in a hometown setting with friendly service and clean facilities, this diner is an oasis of good home style cooking and grandma's recipes. A free seating dining room with high ceilings and large windows make for a cozy, yet open atmosphere. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. While wait times for seating are negligible to none, the cook time is slightly longer than some of the other diners in the area. When you consider the fact that everything is cooked from scratch and not microwaved straight from the freezer its definitely understandable. Their pancakes are thick and heavy, made with cinnamon and vanilla, and cooked to a beautiful golden color. I ordered mine topped with the sausage gravy and fried eggs and was more than pleased. The Pink Lady espresso is an espresso with a raspberry and white chocolate flavor in a light roast organic coffee, topped with whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon. My meal was absolutely delicious. This restaurant has an extensive menu, sure to please even the most choosy of diners, children and adults alike.
Got here after taking a second to find out where it was at because of the name on the signs outside wasn't friends. But we got here and then got cheese curds... They were delicious. I highly recommend them. I got a cheeseburger and so after a bit, I got my food. For lunch no more than 1 other group was there when I was. We got in and out in about an hour. The food was really good, waitress was nice, and overall it was a good place to stop for lunch right off of I-80.
