Great food, clean inside and out!
Friendly and prompt service!
Only paid a few more$$ then we would have spent on McDonald's or BK!
DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK!
Food was amazing and a great quantity. We sat outside and the atmosphere was great. Food came out in minutes.
I've never paid $17 (after tax) for a burrito in my life, but Vidas burrito is worth it.... But just barely. It's huge, and it's delicious, but it's still $15.99 before tax, and that is just the burrito. Nothing else. No rice. No refried beans. No drink.
The staff is awesome and the food is great.
Ordered the #3. All beef. It was very tasty. Portions are nice size. A good value for the money. The taco shell was fresh and had a good soft flavor. It didn’t overpower the fillings. The chips are delicious. I’m glad they gave two dips for them. One is spicy and the other not so much. Good choice. I’ll try the guacamole next time.
Margarita is good and tastes loaded up. This is a super clean restaurant. Bathrooms are well kept. Dining area is immaculate. All I would ask is for them to balance the tables. One I sat at wobbled. But dang, that the only thing I could recommend for them. I’ll definitely be back with my wife and kids.
This place is a cute little place hidden over in Carter Lake on Locust St. The portions are huge. The price is decent. The flavor though....it's lacking. The meat needed to be seasoned better, the rice needed salt and pepper added and the guacamole was mostly tasteless (also way too smooth. Good guacamole should be chunky. This stuff was pureed.)
I dont do heat, but usually most of the Mexican places I visit have a lot of flavor. The steak for the Carne Asada was a little dry. There was no juices.
The one thing they did get right was an excellent amount of grilled onions that definitely helped, but even those were missing much flavor.
They did provide complementary chips, but the sauces they give with them were far too hot for me.
