Grammas Kitchen & Checkered Flag

We had dinner here travelling through back to Cali. My daughter has Fructose Mal-Absorption, the waitress was very friendly and super helpful with searching ingredients! We found that we were able to eat here. It was well priced and we enjoyed our visit.

We were passing through on the way home and wanted something quick to eat for lunch. We were seated right away and had our order placed within 5 minutes. We received our food quickly and it was all delicious. The portions are a bit bigger than what we were expecting for lunch but that just means you get your money's worth. I would definitely recommend and will stop there again if I'm back through this way.

We had driven up past Coralville and on the way back stopped in for a late lunch. Staff was prompt, friendly and the food was very good. I had the hot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and added the salad bar. Everything was cooked to perfection. I forgot to take picture's of my meal to post, but trust me it was very good.

Oh my goodness people, the truck stop across the street is huge and seems to have everything but it can't hold a candle to this place. This place is one of the best restaurants ever. Large portions, great prices and amazing staff. Dont bother with the big truck stop, this place is a must stop. Truly amazing

Whenever we travel I-80, we stop at Grammas Kitchen. The buffet is good and the wait staff is friendly. Their desserts are great. The pies taste like they're homemade. Great food at a fair price.
