Café d'Marie

Great food and really sweet staff. Really chill vibe overall. I will definitely be visiting again if I'm ever back in the area.

I love this place. It's quaint, the food is great and the coffee is excellent. After the coffee I had at 392, this is the best coffee (lattes) that I've had in the quad cities by far. Not bad considering it's a restaurant with good food!

I haven't even gotten my sandwich yet and need to write this review! Latte choices are extensive and very tasty not too sweet. I got the sticky toffee and it is served in a large mug. The winner is the bread pudding.. WOW! This is one of my top favorite deserts that I have ever had any where in the country! It is served in a bowl of cream and ever bite is moist and amazing. We had both flavors- banana Nutella and almond. I would come here alone for this!!!

I grew up in the Quad Cities and return a couple times a year. My friend and I met local family at this cafe for Sunday brunch. We were impressed, of course, by the unique historical house and setting but the best was yet to come. The cozy ambiance, savory aromas and gracious welcome made us feel like we walked into Grandma’s kitchen. (Until we met the young, hardworking and beautiful owner!) We followed suggestions for lattes and quiches, served with a side salad or soup. The menu is small but creative and enticing. Our only regret was not having room for one of the desserts. If you’re looking for a one of a kind place with fine food and a commendable mission, you’ll want to settle in at Cafe d’Marie.

They only had one vegetarian/vegan options when we went but it was amazing. It was some sort of veggie wrap with hummus and chips. I'd recommend it again and again. Wish they had more options but their one option is really good. The tea I had was also very good. The atmosphere was homey and everyone was friendly. Parking was a little difficult due to their location.
