Izumi Steakhouse

First, I will say I am willing to give this restaurant another chance.
It was a hectic atmosphere with many people standing around waiting for hibachi.
I ate in the non- hibachi part. It was very loud and crowded.
A few of our food items were wrong or missing. The sweet and sour chicken was just chicken. No fruit or vegetables.
It was also difficult to get some utensils after our meal was delivered.
The staff was overwhelmed and it seemed too busy for them.
Hopefully things will get better.

We had Mt Fuji, pink lady, gorilla bomb and metropolitan rolls. All were delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and really nice remodeled restaurant from what previous restaurant had.

Got takeout from the sushi bar, very impressed! Miso soup is good, and their ginger dressing for salads is super yummy. Will definitely be going back.

We ate hibachi last night and the best hibachi chef, JB, was our chef for the night!! That alone made our night! Their yum yum sauce is different than the typical one you get around here and it was good. Service was on point. Kani salad was very yummy but I like spice so I'll have to have them make it spicier next time. Their hot Saki was amazing and they poured the first drink for us each time we got a new carafe. Our waters never ran out (which is big because my husband drinks water like it's going out of style).

All in all, great time and great food. Definitely going back to try everything else on the menu.

The shrimp with garlic sauce was the best shrimp I've ever had. We order that from many other restaurants reguarly and it was never THIS GOOD!

The place was absolutely packed but we still got seated, served, and food arrived quickly. We sat in a booth near the bar and sushi bar.

We also got California rolls and crab rangoons which were good too.

The manager (or possibly owner) behind the bar was very friendly and professional to everyone he spoke with including other staff.
