My first time here. The food and service was very good. There are TV's around the room so you can watch sports. A bit noisy, so it's hard to have a conversation with a large group, but it was very busy, so not much you can do about that. Looks like they have an outside area, so you can dine outside when the weather gets nicer. I saw numerous other selections on the menu that I would like to try, so I will definitely be going back.
Just as good as the Moline location, but expect a long wait on weekends (they need call ahead seating or reservations). Burgers are good and the premium shakes are fantastic! The servers need educated about the ingredients of the shakes though because my daughter ordered one and asked if it had peanut butter. The waitress said it didn’t but it must certainly did (peanut butter chips and a scoop of peanut butter on bottom).
All in all, though, the service and food were both very good. You can even watch them make the shakes through a window in the lobby while you are waited to be seated.
Auraya greeted us and was also our server.very friendly and explained the specials for the month. My wife had the build a burger with prime rib patty extra pickles and mayo on the side with a pretzel bun. As a side she had the fry medley. She very much enjoyed the burger and made comment that it was better than another restaurant we had visited in November.
My son had the fire house burger and tater tots with a black cherry float. The burger and float almost had a chance.
I had the wiseguy burger with the fry medley (all of fries available on the menu mixed together) sweet potato, waffle, curly and regular which were quite good and filling. I also had the over the rim apple pie shake. It has a full piece of apple pie that sits on top of the shake. All of us were happy with our choices and have already made potential selections for our next visit.
When I heard that Steel Plow was setting up a restaurant in Davenport, IA I was excited. I had been to the Moline, IL location and it was real good food. The burgers they have are very creative and have combinations you really don't think of. Probably the best part of the meal is the various milkshakes they have. Each milkshake has a particular theme to it and everything but the kitchen sink added to it. It's large enough to share it at least two or three people. Overall if you are looking for a laid back spot to eat, you can't go wrong here.
Beans new big clean happy place. Great menu! Very good service. Super good food. Reasonably priced!!
