Taste of Ethiopia

When I first moved to the Quad Cities a year ago I looked for an Ethiopian restaurant but no luck. I’m so happy Davenport’s restaurant scene finally has this gem now and what’s more, it’s the best Ethiopian I have had anywhere in the US! The shared platter satisfied two adults and a voracious kid. The owners are so sweet and service was great. They plan to add more items to the menu in 2020 but we’ll be back sooner and often.

I'm a visitor from Canada in Davenport who randomly found this wonderful restaurant on Google. Not disappointed at all. Amazing quality and frankly I am craving more already! They also supported my to go order and the staff were so pleasant. Definitely recommended!

This place is insanely delicious! I’ve had Ethiopian food all over the world and this is up there as one of the best. Unique, authentic, well priced, good size portions and extremely nice staff. Got the dinner for 2 to share. My favorite two things were the spicy lentils and the Tib Beef (Stuff in the center). YUM!

Excellent newer restaurant! Had the dinner for two platter and easily filled up two adults and a ten year old. Our daughter is very picky, and she tried/liked almost everything! I cannot think of the words to describe how much each of us really loved the food hear. We will definitely be repeat customers!!!

Really enjoyed dinner. I have visited the food stand multiple times at the farmers market, and I am very happy they have a full location now. The ambience is much more than it was at the stall. Awesome decorations and I loved the music and feel of the location. The food was, as always, delicious. Very reasonably priced and my wife and I will definitely be visiting again, as well as recommending to friends and family.
