Atmosphere was great. We had the Reuben and brat sliders, and both were good. We were here on a Saturday at 5:45, and it was packed. Kitchen was slow but waitress was attentive.

My food was great, I had the European Splitter, my husband the Lava burger. Th serve s friendly. My daughter has the Jager schnitzel and it tasted like it was fried in old oil and was overcooked. Prices were good.

Great destination place. Good beer selection. The food is quite good. For a German restaurant I did find the food selection lacking in some areas for selections. The staff was great and prices were about average to a little bit high. The atmosphere was inviting.

Great location, beer, food, and service. Let's talk about the food more: I love authentic German food. You can get close to that here. Word to the wise: Mind the speed limit when coming to or leaving the area. It's a thing.

Loved it! Good beer, great German dishes, on the Mississippi River, great service! I had sauerbraten, rote (red cabbage) kraut, German potato salad with a dark German beer. We topped our meal off with a Black Forest cake which was generous enough to share! The prices were very reasonable.
