    Beautiful old building, well kept and furnished. The food service was quick and friendly, and the food was excellent, especially the dessert!

    The dining room we were seated was beautiful! Chandelier was breathtaking! Chicken Marsala melted in my mouth!

    Marvelous food, superb servers, reasonable price's and the best old fashion I have ever had. I highly recommend this place for dining. If I lived 800 miles closer I would make it my favorite place.

    What a great little place this is!! Located inside an old historic mansion, The Crane and Pelican overlooks the Mississippi River right at the great bend. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is quaint, and you don't want to miss the experience of dining here. And as if I can't say enough about this place....they welcome everyone. There is a sign on the door that welcomes everyone no matter your religion, ethnicity, gender identity....all may come and enjoy this amazing little restaurant in historic Leclaire, Iowa.
