Just passing through but so glad I stopped here. I ordered taro milk tea, signature milk tea, crab rangoons, and sesame chicken. The crab rangoons were huge and had a generous ratio of crab. Almost a meal all by themselves! I would definitely order both the crab rangoons and teas again!

I always order the same beef chow fun, but unfortunately the portion in my takeout was less than usual today (I was too hungry to take a photo though).

Fanny contacted me and said they will improve the process, making sure the portion and taste are consistent. I am happy that she’s very customer oriented, and her willingness to provide the best service/food to customers is impressive. Highly recommended.

Update: while I think they have the best milk tea + boba in the entire state of Iowa, this restaurant is closed more often than they are open. Their food is hit or miss to me. But the atmosphere in there is fantastic.

Don't make the bubble tea shop appearance distract you from the fact that the Taiwan-style popcorn chicken tasted just like my childhood, so I bet it has a full kitchen back there to back that extensive food menu in addition to the solid bubble tea. Could use "less ice" when asked for "less ice", however. I also liked the themed merchandise for sale on the side. Can't wait to be back next time in Ames.

I ordered pickup for Singapore mifen and fried popcorn chicken. The fried chicken was decent, got a bit of plum salt flavor in it, was quite special. However it turns into something sour in your mouth after had couple. The Singapore mifen was just ok for me, protein taste fresh and good, but the noodles were dry and mild. I picked up the order, but the atmosphere was fantastic, it’s like a cute boba shop with corner tables. I think I went there around 12, the place was pretty packed. I do loooove their decorations, it was very cute and greenish, giving me very cute and environmental friendly feelings. Def will come back and try boba/ other dishes!
