Celaya TexMex

Have eaten here several times since they've opened and have never had anything but great experiences! Food and service have always been good Food has great flavor and is just enough different from similar places in town to make this place my new favorite!

Everything I’ve had here has been amazing! I particularly love the fajitas and margaritas, so it was so fun to see that they had a $5.50 margarita flight deal for Sundays! The service here has always been super quick, partially because it isn’t very crowded, but I’m hoping that can change because they deserve the business. Check them out! :)

Editing to add that I tried the steak fajita quesadillas during another visit, and they were absolutely amazing. 10/10!

First visit to Celaya Texmex, so far the best tasting in Ames as far as I am concerned.
Chips and salsa was very good. The Salsa was thick and hearty. The chips were hot.
I tried the tacos (2.50), it came wrapped in foil, and was perfectly seasoned, so that it was very good.
Also had the steak Burrito Gigante, which also was very tasty, the steak had a nice crust to it, so every bite was meaty. Plus, it was huge too!
The service was fast and friendly, the ice tea was delicious too.
I was very pleased and will return soon!

This was a great place for authentic Mexican and tex mex variations. The service was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Please check this restaurant out. Ames is full of great Mexican style restaurant's I recommend almost all of them. I can't explain to you how phenomenal the food was here this is easily the best Tex-Mex I have had ever

Food was pretty good. Service was great. I got extra cheese sauce for my meal because I'm a cheese lover, and the sauce was great. My husband liked his pork tacos, but said they weren't the best he's ever had. Chicken strip kids meal and enchilada kids meal were very good. Great fried ice cream, too.
