It’s fine, but with a much better HyVee gas just down the road I almost never stop in here. They do have a kitchen that makes fresh food and you can order food if you’d like. There is also a dining area, which would be nice for truckers I imagine but I’ve never had a situation that I would want to sit down and eat at a gas station.
I like the store layout. It is wide open and very welcoming. Every time I have been there the staff always greets me with a hello. Friendly people.
They have a good selection of beer !!
Love how nice and friendly the staff, love their food, reasonably priced. Atmosphere is phenomenal! I would recommend coming here
I have had good and bad experiences at this location. I continue to go back to this location because it’s close to where I live. The actual convenience store itself is good. Fuel is well, fuel. However, the car was at this location is sometimes less than desirable. On January 14, 2015 I purchased a car wash with my fuel purchase. It was a decent day outside so I decided to clean the car up. I was in the car wash and everything is going fine until the car wash ends, blowers start, and the door goes up. While the exit door was going up, it suddenly slammed down. I was stuck with the blowers going for about a minute and unable to get out of my vehicle due to that. The person behind me started to proceed into the car was, after the blowers stopped I got out of the vehicle to try to get the other person to stop coming in the wash at the same time. I was worried the blowers or actual car wash could start up while I was outside of my vehicle. I then called the store and told them I was stuck. The manager of the gas station got me out of there. I asked for a refund due to the inconvenience of being in the wash. The manager said that the “Snow on the door made it slam down.” I didn’t see ANY snow by the door. In February I decided to give this place another chance with my business, it was a cold day when I purchased yet another car wash ticket and didn’t wash the car. Every time I wanted to wash my car from that point forward the car wash was always CLOSED. The ticket later expired and I was out $7. Needless to say, make sure the car wash is fully operational before purchasing.
