(December 22, 2019, 12:53 am)Stopped for pizza after a movie. Gotta have the thick wheat crust so you can drizzle honey over it after you nibble the pizza part! Best pizza in Ames, for sure!

(December 11, 2019, 11:17 pm)I liked their variety of crusts and large pizzas for leftovers. Definitely an Ames tradition! Limited seating, but is a cozy and fun atmosphere. Love the historical pictures of Ames. It can get busy during game days/nights, so order ahead.

(November 29, 2019, 2:34 am)Some of the reviews I read praised the wheat thick crust, but it was...not wonderful. Kind of like eating chunks of undercooked dough. Toppings were good. Atmosphere was quirky. Good value for the $$, but I'd avoid the thick crust.

As a "Sauce and Dough" company, their focus is largely the variety of offerings in doughs. We got the Oat Dough for the first time last night at the recommendation of the young man behind the counter... excellent recommendation!
Fun atmosphere and decor.
