Taco Tico

Love taco tico, haven't eaten there in years. I thought they all closed. Happy to find this one!

Best restaurant ever! Amazing, affordable food, with very quick service! I've never had a bad experience here, it's always so clean, and they always get orders correct, even very large orders. I'd give you more than 5 stars if possible!

Taco Tico is a mecca for locals and anyone who grew up within 60 miles of Fort Dodge. The menu is more akin to Taco Bell than authentic Mexican, but it's very delicious. A guilty pleasure, perhaps. The smothered Sancho is a personal favorite. It's kind of burrito with ground beef, lettuce, cheese, and well, I usually inhale it too quickly to detect much else. Great value, American/Mexican with a cult following.

Very good food! Worth waiting in line for. Only bad thing is we asked for green chili sauce at the speaker and asked at the window if they pit the sauce in the bag, to which they said yes. After we drove 30 minutes home, we realized they in fact did NOT put the sauce in the bag. Otherwise, I'd give them 5 stars.
