Sum Hing Chinese Restaurant

Hey guys your going to have to hurry to experience the very best Chinese food in Iowa. Tomorrow is the last day they will be open. We are going to miss Kathy and Eric Chen and their family and wish them all the best in their new adventure. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

Ordered beef with double mushrooms. Hubby ordered shrimp with cashews. Portions were very large;at least two meals each. Came with bowl of steamed rice. Beef had veggies along with mushrooms in a brown sauce. It was flavorful, but since you don't get a knife, mushrooms should have been cut smaller. The shrimp dish was loaded with veggies which were nice and crisp. However, there were only 10 shrimp in the dish. This restaurant appears to do a good carryout business. The wait staff was very pleasant (potentially the owner) and attentative. Would return and try something spicy next time.

My favorite place to eat in town. They have the best crab rangoon and egg drop soup. I always get the tofu or shrimp with black bean garlic sauce. Its always the same, delicious. The service is great and friendly.

Sum Hing is the best! Their food is amazing, always fresh and hot! The staff is always friendly and helpful! I can't choose a favorite meal because they're all fabulous! Sum Hing is my favorite restaurant around!!!
