Ema was our waitress and did an awesome job. The fish platter and chicken tenders were good. Drinks were good except for bloody Mary's were mediocre and over priced. It's always been a good place to meet friends, check it out.”

“Very welcoming atmosphere! As a customer you’re greeted with polite smiles. Each time I use Indigo Roots tanning beds; they’re cleaned and stocked with eye protection and tanning stickers for their clients to use. Caleb was very helpful with helping me find a tanning extender for my skin that I use daily and absolutely love! Kelley and Caleb are very polite and welcoming. They offer many services and will do their absolute best to inform you if there is a cancellation to fit your schedule and needs. Their daughter is sweet and has helped me as well with starting the beds and making sure I have eye protection or that it is available on site. I’ve always used Perfect Touch and now Indigo Roots for my self care routine and health/wellness needs😊”

“This is one of the few restaurants I've eaten at where I didn't have any complaints. The food was delicious from their pizzas to their desserts. The food was hot and ready when told it would be. I really enjoyed the sauce they used for their pizzas. The menu had many different options from pizzas, deserts, calzones, to salads. You can get slices of pizza for around $5, which may seem expensive, but the slices are large. I tried the lasagna pizza and was I in for a big delicious bite. The pizza was huge, nothing like I've had before. For the price you pay, it seemed reasonable. This location is small and more for take out. This may be an issue if you want to dine in or don't live in the area. Overall, I would give this pizza place a try if you want to actually be full and not reaching for something else after.”

“Went on a weekday early evening, and the place was almost all to ourselves. Staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our entire visit. We enjoyed dinner, drinks, and the infamous putt putt. Drinks are playful with light up cubes. The food sounds amazing but is subpar. Nice for a quick bite before putting or bowling, but the flavor was lacking. We got the chicken wings... which were on steroids. GIGANTIC! Which is not a bad thing, but I got it with the dry rub, and I was missing out on more flavor. My partner got the sliders, and they were your standard sliders... the pulled pork was the most flavorful. Although the food was not my favorite, I would still return just because the staff were so friendly and helpful. We never tried the mini bowling. But looked fun!. Great spot for all types of events.”

“Started with the beet salad, fresh and as expected. Pork shank was amazing in a light miso sauce, not overpowering. Shrimps were well stuffed, but shrimp had no shrimp flavor to speak of. Potato side dish was hot and comforting. Cauliflower bake was very flavorful. They do allow corkage and its $16 which seems high, but a better choice as the wine selections were almost non-existent. Atmosphere is typical retro supper club/bar style. Casual dress. Servers and manager Daniel were great!”

“What Dak has a cozy feel when you walk in. Staffs were friendly and greeted us. We ordered at the register and it was quite easy. Korean taco was good, but it wasn’t my flavor. The octopus balls were good and had a creamy texture. Fried chicken wings were nice and crispy. I preferred the hot wings over the garlic soy, but both were amazing. Japchae was decently good. Give this place a try if you haven’t.”

“My wife and I came to celebrate a very special occasion. We ordered an appetizer, and I got wine. My wife got a filet, soup, and a side. I ordered Sea Bass and a side. All the food was great with one exception...my wife's steak. She ordered it medium, and it came well done. The plates come out at 500 degrees so it only got more done and tough as it sat on the plate. She ate about half of it. For a meal that cost 200+, this type of thing shouldn't happen.”

“Excited to see them open another location in the metro in West Des Moines. Beautiful, clean restaurant inside, with plenty of parking outside. All staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Love that they partner with numerous local businesses to provide quality food and drinks. Even artwork and furniture that's sourced locally! Prices are super reasonable in proportion to what you receive. Everything was delicious, no complaints! We enjoyed the coffee cake, biscuits and gravy meal, and the Gimme the meats omelet meal. They even leave a water bottle and the coffee pot at the table! No need to hunt down the wait staff for refills.”

However, I don’t know if it’s the cook or what, but the crust hasn’t been getting thoroughly cooked the the middle which is making the dough more spongy, so maybe run it a little longer, or change the dough recipe back to how it was. Love the pizza though.”
