El Charro of Iola

It has been about 5 years since I had been here until today. In the past they had excellent service. Our waitress today was not very nice and made it seem like a group of 10 was a burden. We split the order between a few of us and were overcharged. We just let that slide because we just wanted to get out of there. Sad to be excited to visit a place that I use to love to eat at and see the customer service at such a bad level. The food was not the best. I think out of 10 people only 2 finished their food while the other 8 had over a half a plate left. It definitely was better a few years ago. 😢

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. Especially for a small town in southeast Kansas. I would definitely recommend the place. When my folks come out this is where we always go. They seem to enjoy it. Myself will usually go at least once or twice a month. Staff has always seemed friendly. They check on your regularly to make sure everything's okay and that you don't need anything. My drink never runs dry.

Food is always consistent and always good! Great quality and quantity for the $$$.
