    This place is a hidden gem!! This old school diner's food is absolutely delicious!! Nothing I say here can do justice to how great the food was!! I'm not kidding, this is my new favorite place to eat out at!! Please don't just take my word for it, TRY IT!!

    Family issues have my family spending time in Horton and Blue Ribbon Diner is fast becoming our go to for lunch. We have ordered a variety of menu items and everything has been great. Friendly people, good portions and great comfort food...what more could you want? Do be prepared to pay with cash.

    Service was super slow enough I had to consider if the waitress was the cook. The food was good. Chili tasted like a sweet Wendy's chili. The decor is older and reminds me of Roseann the TV show. Food was good, but a heads up is that the place is Cash or LOCAL check only. Between the slow speed and the lack of accepting debit or credit, I had to go with 3 stars.
