(August 30, 2020, 1:14 pm)The plain and simple used to be made with sliced English muffin bread and toasted to perfection. The English muffin bread was sweet and firm. Today it was made with an oversized wheat bread that was floppy. The floppy semi-toasted wheat bread with whole grain mouth feel is very different than the English muffin and has totally changed what made this sandwich great. The whole wheat taste dominates this sandwich. Bring back balance to the breakfast sandwich. Bring back the English muffin bread!
Edit: the new sandwich could be called the Grain and Simple -
