I know what you're thinking - sushi in Kansas? Historically in Lawrence, that skepticism would be justified. Until now. The 4.9 rating is legit - this is the best sushi in town. Hands down. If you're wondering whether or not to go here, the answer is DO IT. You won't be sorry.

Hands down - Best sushi in Lawrence
This was my first time here. My daughter and I ordered a sashimi deluxe each (serious sushi eaters). It was excellent-- fresh, attractive generous proportions. Miso soup was tasty and and hot. The service was attentive and efficient (as it should have been given we were there just after opening (4:15) on a Wednesday, when things were on the slow side). Prices were more than fair given the excellent proportions. This will be my husband and my new go-to place for sushi. We live in W. Lawrence, but it's definitely worth the little trek to get there.

Dined in on Saturday for my birthday. Tried 3 different appetizers, all 3 were better than I expected. All of the food was delicious and beautiful. Service was great as well. On top of that the sushi chef made me this tuna flower thing for my birthday, how generous!

We had very friendly staff who were very fast and sweet. The food came out not long after we ordered, and man the presentation and taste? Top notch! Easily one of my favorite places to eat here now! I do not know how more people were not here when I visited! Very high quality food and good size! Definitely a hidden gem in Lawrence. My sister and I have been to a lot of sushi places, and even tho this menu is not flashy, it delivers! Please support this business! ♥️

Best sushi place in Lawrence, hands down. The service was amazing, and the food was so good, and it was clean. I am going back again tonight to try some other stuff. I had the rainbow roll tropical rolls and crab Rangoon. Recommend to anyone wanting good food and service. Went back again, got the pepper tuna and the Vegas Rolls both were amazing.
