Six Mile Chop House and Tavern

This place is awesome! Plenty of room for groups and parties. A huge menu with many unique and delicious choices. A great selection of beer and wine. The staff is super friendly. What's not to like. Don't cheat yourself! Get in there and give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

Dinner with coworkers. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere for eating and conversing. Don't be in a hurry.

I have been here a couple of times and honestly, I am not that impressed. The atmosphere is nice and they have a good selection of drinks, but I have yet to be impressed with the food. I have had the cobb salad, and its the only thing I have liked, but its pretty difficult to mess up a salad. I have also had the baked mac and cheese and the chicken fried steak. The mac and cheese was very lackluster. There was no real flavor and the sauce was so thick that felt like I was eating glue. Also, since they called it "baked", I expected some signs of it actually being baked. To me it seemed like they put some noodles on the plate and squirted a liquid cheese product over it. Save your money and buy a box of Velveeta mac and cheese, there is really no difference between them. The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes was not very flavorful either. My steak seemed a little too crispy and the potatoes and gravy were just bland. I had higher hopes for flavor for a restaurant offer "refined american pub fare", but it seems the refined all the flavor out of their dishes.

These Crab Cakes are delicious! Oops, there were 2, but I ate one before I got a pic. ?‍♀️ The customer service is also outstanding! If you are on the Tavern side, Grayson is a great bartender!?
