J D's Country Style Chicken

I’m known by family and friends alike to be somewhat of a chicken connoisseur, so let me tell you this: JD’s Chicken has the most mouth-watering, orgasm-inducing chicken I’ve ever tried. After taking a bite into that juicy chicken thigh, I felt like I had been transported into Heaven. My only complaint is that I won’t get to experience that first bite again. From now on, I’ll have my birthdays at JD’s Chicken. My anniversary? JD’s Chicken. 24 hours before the world ends? You know where you’ll find me. I invite everyone to come take a bite of JD’s Chicken — you won’t regret it.

Great fresh fried chicken! Coleslaw was a little sweet for me but I enjoyed this charming little spot. Though a review here promised servers would be discussing death and funerals, was sorely disappointed and had only cheerful service. Be prepared to sit down and take a load off a while :)

I used to say JD’s Crispy Chicken Salad was the best salad west of the Mississippi. Now I say it don’t matter; East, West, North South, this salad is absolute gas. As good as it gets in the salad game for sure.

Food was OK. Nothing to write home about. The fried chicken was good, but not any better than KFC. Green beans were terrible. They came straight out of the can, no seasoning at all. The French fries had no salt and very bland. Service was good and prices were affordable.

This was our first visit. We both enjoyed the 4 piece chicken dinner. All of the food was hot and fresh. Chicken breasts we very moist and juicy. Staff were helpful and pleasant. We are looking forward to going back in the future.
