“The name is highly misleading. "Aloha", you would assume it is some form of Hawaiian. Maybe Chinatown in Hawaii. It was disappointing to see no Hawaiian favorites (mac salad, musubi) Their food tasted a lot like a buffet. Chicken (asian side) was the same, just with different sauces on top. You receive a small side of veggies and either macaroni salad or coleslaw. They advertise a "bowl" of macaroni salad, but its a small sample cup. I didn't try the crunch chicken side of the menu, so I may go back, but I would keep my expectations low.”

“Went to The Social on a "burgers only" Saturday. These folks make a quality hamburger. Patties are "smash" style and seasoned well. Buns are butter toasted, toppings are fresh. I appreciate that the beer prices won't break the bank either. Definitely worth the short drive out of Hays. Look out for deer if you're headed out at dusk and drive safe! 🦌✌️”

“Fantastic food, amazing service, and a great location. Hays really needed a spot with traditional, well made, Latin and Mexican foods. We had the soup of the week which was pleasantly spicy with a perfect mix of ingredients. The Pupusa was great as well, the corn patties were fresh and the perfect thickness. “This place is the hidden gem of Hays America. The service is always fast and friendly. I have yet to have a bad experience here. Jesus was my server the last time I came in. He was very knowledgeable of the items, polite, and welcoming. If you're interested in trying this fast food joint, I would recommend the blackened tenders, they're a staple when I visit. They're juicy, flavorful, with a hint of heat. If you aren't a fan of spice, you'd love the classic sandwich. I highly recommend this place! Never a bad option”

“Driving through Hays on our way home to Colorado and needed a sit-down meal outside the car. El Dos was a pleasant surprise right off I-70. Service was friendly and efficient, we got our food quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious. The $3.99 Grand Marnier Margarita was very good, too! (The driver did not get to try it, of course). Highly recommend and would definitely stop there again.”

“This is a great Freddy’s location. I had a craving for ice cream and arrived a few minutes before closing. I was in the mood for an ice cream sundae with a brownie and the server quickly accommodated my request before they closed. The brownie sundae was delicious and definitely cured my craving. The rolls, soup, and salad were a solid start to the meal. The entrees were filling and had good flavor but did not stand out in any way. That said, each entree was only about $14 so I really am not sure where you can eat this much above average food at that price.”

“Your typical Qdoba but with great staff. The manager appeared to be a great leader, directing his team but treating them with respect. The manager and other staff interacted well with the customers, making it a fun and welcoming atmosphere. When one guest's child became fussy in line, the manager quickly asked if they could get them their kids meal drink before they ordered. The family looked relieved and the child immediately calmed down with milk in hand. That one simple act made the experience better for the child, their family, and all the guests who didn't have to listen to a fussy little one.”

Full flavor, great tang, each with unique spice profile and the revenge added plenty of heat without masking the flavor. Chipotle lime was my fav Hearty sides like sweet potato soufflé and mashed redskin potatoes with white gravy hit the spot. “This is a great place located in downtown Ellis. The pizza was excellent, especially the cinnamon dessert pizza. We just got takeout, so I wasn't able to get a great look at the interior, but from what I could see it looked to be fairly clean. Overall this is a great little place right in the heart of Ellis.”
